Position- Civil Engineer Location – Puritas Head Office, Colombo 10 & & Site (projects) Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using MS Project. Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and align project phases with strategic objectives. Coordinate with project managers, functional executives, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project progress and adjust plans to mitigate delays and risks. Estimate resources and costs required for each project phase. Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure adherence to timelines. Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project planning and implementation within the construction or infrastructure sector. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). Strong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering principles. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, mitigate risks, and control costs. Familiarity with local and international construction standards. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
