MUST-HAVES

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas
• 6–8+ years of hands-on civil engineering experience in transportation, drainage, and water resources
• Strong skills in roadway design, H&H drainage modeling, and stormwater/water-resource systems
• Proven ability to manage full lifecycle of civil projects—from design to construction support
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies, including attending public meetings

ROLE SUMMARY

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll lead municipal and infrastructure projects with a focus on transportation, drainage, and water resources. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions, mentoring team members, and contributing to the mission of reliability and excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead design and analysis for roadway, drainage, and water-resource projects
• Prepare PS&E packages, schematics, hydraulic models, cost estimates, and bid documentation
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and public agencies; attend stakeholder meetings
• Support construction activities: RFIs, submittal reviews, change orders, and site visits
• Mentor junior staff and support internal technical development
• Assist with proposals, pre-bid meetings, and business development
