Due to MSG’s continued growth, a new opening is available for a Civil Engineer to assist with our projects in Canton, MI!

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
  • Must have strong communication skills and proficiency at working in a vibrant and multi-faceted team environment.
  • Extensive Knowledge and project experience with of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Hydraulic design, pavement design and grading skills are desired
  • PE license, or demonstrated ability to readily obtain, preferred

Responsibilities
  • Work in conjunction with licensed engineers assisting with the design and preparation of a variety of commercial, industrial, energy, water/waste water and community projects throughout the Midwest.
  • Coordinate with fellow MSG staff across a variety of services sectors including: Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, Site Construction, etc.
  • Perform and check various design calculations and performing various tasks as they relate to preparing a design package.
  • Preparing front end feasibility documents, due diligence reports and zoning studies, project development, storm water modeling and design, cost estimates and detailed design plans.
