This position is ideal for an engineering professional who is passionate about designing, managing, and executing construction projects with precision, safety, and sustainability in mind.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in construction or real estate development.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering design software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in Canada.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Valid engineering certification or license in British Columbia is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to develop project layouts and designs.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Monitor on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and government officials to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections, identify issues, and implement timely solutions.
  • Estimate project costs and prepare budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Ensure all construction activities meet local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety requirements.
