Overview Evolving regulatory requirements and aging infrastructure often present challenges to existing water and wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems. With a diverse knowledge base, Snyder & Associates helps develop water and wastewater solutions to overcome the challenges facing water and wastewater systems. Our team proficiently evaluates existing systems and makes thoughtful, budget-minded recommendations for our clients. We’re prepared to assist with all project aspects, from the initial planning and funding qualification process, to design and construction document preparation, and finally through bidding and construction administration. What we seek is an experienced engineer with demosntrated success in the design, construction and implementation of water and wastewater treatment systems and facilities. Responsibilities Hands-on design of water and wastewater treatment facilities Develop strong working relationships with clients and internal team members Demonstrate ability to work as contributing team member Able to work with minimal direction to solve problems independently. Development of facility plans and technical reports Qualifications Bachelor's degree in applicable engineering field 8 or more years’ experience in U.S.-based municipal wastewater systems PE designation required Familiar with SRF, USDA, and CDBG funding sources Proven design skills Client-focused Team collaborator Strong communication skills - written and verbal Position based in St. Joseph, Missouri EOE / E-Verify
Responsibilities
The role involves hands-on design of water and wastewater treatment facilities and developing strong working relationships with clients and team members. The engineer will also be responsible for creating facility plans and technical reports.
