OVERVIEW

The Project/Civil Engineer is responsible for supervision and monitoring the civil construction and commissioning of YTLPS 600MW CCGT Project in Jurong Island . You will be assisting the Project Manager/Site Manager in ensuring of effectiveness of work management at the site throughout the whole project period.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist Project Manager and Site Manager in site supervision
  • Managing and planning the civil construction work
  • Liaising and coordinating with all parties involved in the projects such as Main Contractors, Subcontractors, Supplies, etc to ensure successful implementation of the work
  • Ensure that all the safety rules and regulations are being observed
  • Ensuring that the works start on time and end within the estimated duration
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and procedures
  • Oversee the day-to-day works of the work and provide timely updates
  • Making sure the work compiles with Legal requirements, especially Health and Safety and company policies
  • May need to review engineering designs, ensuring meet project specifications and regulatory standards

Education Qualification :

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field

Experience :

  • Min. 10 years of relevant working experience as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer in the construction industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Security by Design software is added advantage
  • Able to work independently and as a team with good prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of local construction laws and regulations
  • With knowledge on Security by Design is added advantage
