EMH&T is currently seeking a CAD Technician to join our Development I team located in Columbus, OH.
Our CAD Technicians support and collaborate with the civil engineering team in the design and planning infrastructure projects, drafting technical engineering design components, assisting with preliminary and completed layouts, designing concepts, and detailed design drawings from technical notes, sketches, and/or other drawings. Detailed drawings may include roadway, sewer, sanitary, storm water, and utilities.
Our Development I team primarily supports private singe- and multi-family housing projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities
  • Carries out a variety of drafting assignments using independent judgment and initiative.
  • Prepares layouts, drawings and designs according to engineering specifications using CAD software.
  • Retrieves information from files, edits, produces hardcopies and updates drawings/designs.
  • Reviews engineering drawings and documentation, resolves undefined details.
