EN:Able Futures, an award winning apprenticeship employer have partnered with The Civil & Structural Engineering Team of Alan Wood & Partners in Stockton who are currently recruiting an Apprentice to support the daily needs of projects within the team studying at Degree Level.
The successful candidate will be someone with significant prior learning and experience within the construction industry, prior learning can come from a previous apprenticeship (such as a Level 4 Civil Engineering Technician) college courses, HNC/HND or T-Levels, but the experience must be relevant to this apprenticeship.
We are also looking for a candidate with excellent Math’s skills (ideally A Level or Higher Qualification in Maths). The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be able to think logically and have a keen interest in Construction & Civil Engineering, and be able to evidence this through their application, prior learning and interview.

TRAINING/QUALIFICATION

The successful candidate will work towards the ‘Civil Engineer’ Level 6 Apprenticeship Standard.
The training will take place at Teesside University on either day release (1 day per week) or block release (1 week every six weeks) basis.
The duration will depend on the successful candidates prior learning, but willl be between 4-6 years plus end point assessment.
Successful candidate must be able to meet entry requirements of 96-112 Ucas points.
