Engineering firm that's been in business for decades is looking for a Civil Engineer Department Manager for their Parsippany, New Jersey office! Responsibilities: Develop/manage Civil Engineering team Restructure department to operate effectively in various markets Oversee project design Coordinate multi-discipline project tasks for site development projects Develop site layout/design (site grading/storm drainage, roadway, water/sewer infrastructure, erosion and sediment control) Ensure high quality projects are completed on time and on budget Perform project administration duties Coordinate project with other departments Establish financial performance goals Develop annual business plan to assist in the firm’s growth Build/maintain client relationships Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering 12+ years of leadership, project management and client management experience Extensive design experience with a focus on site development projects Thorough understanding of entitlement processes PE License Be established in area with existing relationships in the municipal and private sector Manage multiple priorities Understanding of municipal engineering principles/practices Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autoturn, hydrology & hydraulics software packages and MS Office Suite Current involvement in professional networking organizations Strong skills as a presenter Salary is commensurate with experience.
