Could you be the full-time onsite Civil Engineering Design Lead in Toronto, ON, CA we’re looking for?

Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive civil engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the landscape of our projects by being responsible for directing the coordination across systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, BIM Specialists, and Quality Assurance), lead integration design and built meetings, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leading Internal Civil Designers, Civil subcontractors and specialist subcontractors.
  • Managing design packages from inception to construction for Overhead Catenary System (OCS) foundations, OCS anchoring to structures, TPF site/buildings, signalling equipment Foundations and Cable containment systems etc.
  • Work with Design Manager, defining and creating Scope documents for Civil Design Subcontractors including preparation of Buisness cases
  • Managing schedule for the deliverables

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field,
  • Knowledge of Civil Design principles for complex foundations, groundworks, grading, formwork, and cable/piping ways,
  • Excellent communication skills to lead meetings and interface with various teams,
  • Proven ability to manage and direct subcontractor activities,
  • Experience or understanding of coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering project
