This role is paid on an hourly basis with a range of $33.00 - $44.00 and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The expected approximate annualized compensation range is $70,000 - $90,000. Summary of the Role We're in search of a dynamic Civil Engineering Designer who is highly motivated and results driven. As a vital member of our team, you'll have a central role in shaping and delivering a wide range of land development projects. Responsibilities * Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges * Preparation of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents * Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application * Preparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D * Research regulatory requirements and design standards * Perform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements * Preparation of detailed technical reports and project presentation materials * Assist project engineers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets * Attend project meetings Qualifications We’re looking for talented professionals who are eager to grow their skills and contribute to high-quality, meaningful work. The following qualifications will help you succeed in this role: * 1-5+ years of experience in site development design * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, or equivalent work experience * Experience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D for site development * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency with MS Office * A desire and/or ability to work in teams to accomplish shared goals * Self-motivated with the ability and desire to deliver excellent client service Work Location This is an onsite role based out of the following Core States Group offices: Roseville, CA; Bellevue, WA; Kent, WA; Richland, WA; Scottsdale, AZ; Frisco, TX; Bentonville, AR; or Philadelphia, PA.
