Falcon Cranes Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Draftsman to join our team in
Yatala, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing drafting support for a
variety of civil engineering projects, playing a key part in the successful delivery of our work.
What you’ll be doing
Producing detailed civil engineering drawings and designs using CAD software
Interpreting project briefs, specifications and other technical documents to translate
requirements into accurate drawings
Collaborating with project engineers, site teams and other stakeholders to ensure drawings
meet all necessary standards and requirements
Maintaining and updating drawing registers, databases and other documentation
Providing technical support and advice to the wider engineering team as needed
Continuously seeking ways to improve drafting processes and practices
What we’re looking for
Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related technical discipline
Proven experience as a Civil Engineering Draftsman, ideally within the construction or
infrastructure sectors
Excellent knowledge of civil engineering drafting principles, practices and software e.g.
AutoCAD
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with engineers and other
stakeholders
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
