Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per annum
Water Services Engineering Pty. Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our team. We specialize in delivering innovative engineering solutions for water infrastructure projects across Queensland.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering Drafting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in drafting for water services or civil engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other drafting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of Australian standards and environmental regulations related to civil engineering projects.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,500.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, including water infrastructure and related systems.
  • Utilizing CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to create accurate and efficient project designs.
  • Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical documentation, including reports, schedules, and project estimates.
  • Coordinating with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet technical standards and client requirements.
  • Conducting field measurements and surveys to gather data for design purposes.
  • Updating and maintaining design records, ensuring all revisions are accurately documented.
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian standards, codes, and regulations in all drafting activities.
