ABOUT THE ROLE Windsor is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented engineering student for a part-time internship with our civil infrastructure team. The ideal candidate would be interested in working between 8-24 hours per week during the school year out of our Minneapolis, MN office. This role is perfect for a junior or senior in a civil engineering bachelor program looking gain experience in the world of municipal infrastructure consulting. You'll leverage the tools you are learning in school to assist our team in creating resilient communities through innovative stormwater and water/wastewater infrastructure solutions. Hourly pay starting at $21/hour WHAT YOU'LL DO Demonstrate Windsor’s core values: The Right Attitude, Ownership, and Constant Improvement. Assist with project design and analysis using AutoCAD software, ArcGIS, and other civil and stormwater modeling design tools. Participate in field surveys and tasks to gather necessary data for project planning and design. Prepare and review technical documents, reports, and presentations to ensure compliance with project specifications. Visit project sites to monitor progress, ensure proper installation, and perform quality control. Work closely with civil engineers and assist with project coordination tasks as needed. Attend and engage in project and company meetings. QUALIFICATIONS Enrolled as a junior or senior working towards bachelor’s degree in, civil, environmental, or related Engineering discipline (ABET-accredited preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and contractor interface. Strong Word, Excel and powerpoint skills for supporting project leads and coordinators with preparing project documents and calculations. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites. Ability to work in outdoor field conditions and construction environments on an as-needed basis.
