We’re looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our client’s growing Madison office, managing a full scope of work on airport and site development projects. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years in civil engineering, ideally with airport or site development projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, stormwater modeling software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge: Strong grasp of Federal/State funding and approval processes.
  • Licensure: Georgia Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, with ability to obtain in other states. Valid driver’s license required.
  • Soft Skills: Collaborative leader, detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities

You’ll take ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Design & Management – Oversee airport and/or site development engineering projects, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Technical Oversight – Review plans, specifications, and cost estimates; adapt standard techniques to solve unique engineering challenges.
  • Quality Control – Coordinate with engineers, sub-consultants, and internal teams to ensure all project deliverables meet our rigorous standards.
  • Client & Contractor Collaboration – Represent the business at meetings, resolve issues, and interpret contract specifications.
  • Proposal Development – Prepare scopes, budgets, schedules, and fee proposals; contribute to business development and marketing efforts.
  • Project Tracking – Monitor milestones, prepare reports, and manage change orders.
