Job Responsibilities Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality municipal engineering projects Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets Manage project scope, schedules, staffing, and resources Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication Ensure all project-specific delivery requirements, standards, and deadlines are met Lead project pursuits, including securing contract work, negotiating contracts, and providing progress updates as requested Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to staff Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships Collaborate with colleagues and leverage internal resources to continuously enhance professional skills and project outcomes Adhere to internal Quality Control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance Job Requirements A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university 7+ years of relevant experience with multiple years leading projects A Professional Engineer (PE) License (preferred) Experience in producing civil engineering plans Experience with municipal project design Knowledge of municipal permitting and Federal, State, and local regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Technical competence in developing and managing project budgets Knowledge of client standards and Quality Control processes A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work Life at JT: The Benefits and Perks At JT, we offer more than just a job - we provide a thriving workplace culture and exceptional benefits.
