THE OPPORTUNITY:

Civil Engineering Student to work in our Land Development Municipal Engineering Group in our Kamloops office.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO HERE:

  • Assist Project Managers and Project Engineers with various design and project activities in the office;
  • Assist with preparing technical analysis and design;
  • Assist with preparing technical reports;
  • Use AutoCad Civil 3D to prepare design drawings;
  • Use modelling software to create models for water and storm infrastructure;
  • Assisting Field Inspectors onsite in construction coordination and inspection on projects in Kamloops and the surrounding area.
  • Assisting Field Inspectors in resolving construction issues;
  • Daily progress and HSE reporting;
  • Completion of construction as-builts for record keeping/approval purposes.;Other duties as assigned.

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO RELOCATION ALLOWANCE FOR THIS ROLE SO YOU MUST BE ABLE TO LOCATE TO KAMLOOPS, BC.

Salary range (in British Columbia): $24.50/hr - $32.25/hr
