LOOKING TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR UPCOMING INTERNSHIP?

Hatch is seeking a Civil Engineering Student to join our Infrastructure, Rail team based out of the Vancouver, British Columbia office. In this role, you will be working on major railway projects in Western Canada.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ATTRIBUTES):

  • Proficiency in Civil 3D is considered an asset
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Shows critical and creative thinking, problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients’ toughest challenges
    Candidates are expected to work from Hatch’s downtown Vancouver office full time for the duration of the work term. This position is available for 4-month or 8-month work terms starting on January 5, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma at an accredited University or College
  • Knowledge of current technical engineering codes and practices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
  • Problem solving skills and analytical.
