Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician (ANZSCO 312212) to support ourengineering and construction team in planning, coordinating, and monitoring residentialconstruction and civil infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

Assist civil engineers with planning and supervising residential construction projects.

Prepare engineering drawings, sketches, specifications, and technical reports.

Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.

Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials.

Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, local regulations, and workplace safetyrequirements.

Estimate quantities, prepare cost calculations, and maintain project documentation.

Coordinate with surveyors, contractors, suppliers, and project managers.

Monitor quality control and recommend corrective actions where required.

Essential Requirements

Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or a closely related qualification.

At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in civil or residential construction.

Knowledge of Australian construction standards and engineering practices.

Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering software.

Preferred Skills

Experience in residential subdivision or housing developments.

Understanding of drainage, roads, earthworks, and utility infrastructure.
