As a Civil Engineering Technologist you will become an integral part of our multi-disciplinary teams working in the office and the field on water supply, storage and retention, mine water and urban stormwater drainage, flood and erosion protection, geohazard remediation for roads and railroads, and environmental assessment and remediation projects.

Responsibilities
  • Work on a variety of challenging engineering projects including dams, municipal, tailings ponds, public infrastructure, mine infrastructure, geohazards, foundations, and drainage systems.
  • Prepare detailed drafting and civil design for earthworks using AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Prepare engineering drawings (plans, profiles, cross sections and details) to specified drawing standards.
  • In addition to drafting and design work, we are looking for an individual who has a keen interest in field work. Potential field work opportunities include construction monitoring and site investigations in western and northern Canada, primarily Alberta, and possibly internationally.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team environment that fosters career development.
