Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering/Technology Intern to be based in Saskatoon, Canada.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university or college program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Technology Diploma, and must have completed at least 2 years of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
Responsibilities
  • Helps conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Assists in data review, creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision
  • Occasional Field Assignments, and inspections.
  • Working under the direction of the project manager, and designers.
  • Review of project drawings and specifications.
  • Observe, inspect and record work on-site to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Work in remote areas of Northern Saskatchewan.
