We are currently seeking an Experienced Civil Estimator to join our team. This role is critical to the success of our projects, ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential, commercial, and civil construction work. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to prepare and deliver comprehensive estimates that support our project goals and business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and documentation to understand scope and requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate existing conditions, access, and potential risks.
  • Work collaboratively with the internal project team and external partners to clarify project details and resolve uncertainties.
  • Identify and assess risks, recommending mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • Prepare detailed tender estimates, RFIs, and RFPs.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and assess costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted work.
  • Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness and reliability.
  • Utilize cost estimation software, historical data, and market trends to develop accurate and timely project estimates.
  • Prepare reports, cost breakdowns, and presentations for internal and client use.
  • Keep estimation databases up to date with current material and labor pricing.
  • Support project planning efforts by collaborating on schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain and grow a network of trusted suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all estimates comply with project requirements, local regulations, and industry standards.
  • Support the procurement and contracts team in reviewing and negotiating terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized records and documentation throughout the estimating process.
