Lead Network Designer / Hydraulic Modelling We’re growing our Water team and looking for an experienced Lead Network Designer / Hydraulic Modelling specialist to deliver complex water infrastructure projects for major utility clients across New Zealand. You’ll lead hydraulic modelling and network design across transmission pipelines, pump stations and large-scale water and wastewater networks, working alongside highly regarded technical specialists across planning, design and delivery. This role is ideal for someone from a hydraulic modelling, network design or broader water infrastructure background who enjoys solving complex network challenges and mentoring others. What You’ll Do Lead hydraulic modelling and network design for complex water and wastewater projects Provide technical leadership across feasibility, concept and detailed design Deliver modelling and design solutions for transmission pipelines, pump stations and utility networks Work closely with clients to solve complex network and operational challenges Mentor developing engineers and modellers within the team Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated infrastructure outcomes What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent) Chartered Engineer status, or working towards chartership Strong experience in hydraulic modelling, network design or water infrastructure engineering Experience delivering water or wastewater utility projects across planning and design phases Strong understanding of water networks, pipelines, pump stations and system operations Experience using InfoWorks ICM, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, ECM and WSPro Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships Ready to bring ideas to life?
