Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Civil Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our construction projects, particularly in infrastructure and road development. Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites, materials, and work processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations Analyze and interpret contract documents, blueprints, and technical specifications to verify adherence to project requirements Perform regular site visits to monitor construction progress and identify potential issues or deviations from plans Prepare detailed inspection reports, including observations, recommendations, and photographic documentation Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure project quality Verify equipment settings, alignment, and testing procedures to maintain project integrity Monitor and report on contractor resources, including personnel and equipment utilization Implement and oversee quality control and quality assurance procedures throughout the project lifecycle Conduct site measurements and surveying checks to ensure accurate alignment and levels Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management on inspection findings and project status Assist in the review and approval of contractor submittals and change orders Ensure compliance with local and international construction standards and regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil inspection, particularly in infrastructure and road projects In-depth knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and regulations in Saudi Arabia Strong familiarity with contract documents, detailed drawings, and project specifications Proficiency in conducting site inspections, quality control, and quality assurance procedures Excellent skills in site measurements and surveying checks Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite Outstanding report writing and communication skills in English Arabic language skills preferred Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment Willingness to travel to various project sites within Saudi Arabia Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle in Saudi Arabia Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
