Egis has long history of providing comprehensive engineering, consulting, and project management services makes it a trusted partner for regional governments, investors, and developers Job Description Inspect site conditions prior to the commencement of construction activities to verify compatibility with the designed permanent works and identify any obstructions. Photograph, document, and record the condition of existing properties, utilities, and structures that may be affected by construction activities. Ensure that existing structures, properties, utilities, and landscaping are adequately protected throughout the construction period. Review materials, equipment, and products delivered to site for compliance with approved submittals, samples, and specifications, and report any non-conformance. Verify that all materials are properly handled, stored, and protected in accordance with specifications and manufacturer recommendations. Inspect temporary and permanent works to ensure construction is carried out in compliance with Contract Documents, approved shop drawings, and technical submittals. Prepare and maintain daily site logs, inspection reports, test records, and documentation of work executed, in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual. Monitor site safety practices and construction progress, and report any safety concerns or deviations to the appropriate parties. Assist in the inspection of completed works and preparation of punch lists. Monitor and support start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager in support of project objectives. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in civil construction inspection within building projects, preferably in a consultant-led environment. Knowledge of construction standards, codes, and specifications. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements. Strong reporting and communication skills.
