JOB DESCRIPTION

Opportunity: The City of Albany’s Operations Team has an opportunity in coordinating civil infrastructure maintenance operations.

Reporting to the Civil Maintenance Coordinator, this role is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Preparing and managing an annual master maintenance schedule for civil infrastructure.
  • Scoping, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance projects and programs.
  • Conducting site inspections, ensuring environmental compliance, and adhering to WHS standards.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and providing technical support and guidance to field staff.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

About You: Proven experience and practical knowledge of civil infrastructure asset management, project planning, and maintenance scheduling.

The successful candidate will also require:

  • A relevant degree or qualification with substantial experience in civil infrastructure operations.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and civil construction techniques.
  • Experience using software such as MS Project or equivalent for planning and scheduling.
  • A proactive approach to WHS and environmental compliance.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills, including supervising teams and fostering collaboration.
  • A ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Certificate IV in Project Management (desirable).
  • Road construction and/or maintenance experience (desirable)
