About the Role Position Title: Civil Maintenance Worker Business Unit: Maintenance Division Location: Happy Valley, South Australia Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time Reporting To: Supervisor Service Stream’s Waste water Maintenance Division is seeking a motivated Civil Maintenance Worker to join our growing team. This role is responsible for safely delivering the physical field aspects of planned and reactive maintenance, as well as minor civil works, under the direction of Field Supervisors. The position operates in accordance with quality, time, cost, and customer service requirements while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities Deliver reactive, emergency, planned, preventative maintenance, and minor civil works in accordance with work management systems, procedures, and safety requirements. Accurately complete all field and administrative documentation, including work records, asset data, timesheets, and leave requests. Operate in a flexible, multi‑discipline environment, including the use of maintenance vehicles, jetting and hydrovac equipment, small plant, and associated tools. Support efficient service delivery by adjusting work schedules where required and acting as a point of contact on site. Work collaboratively with supervisors, operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to improve safety, productivity, and contract performance. Contribute to incident management, risk identification, continuous improvement initiatives, and vehicle/mobile plant maintenance requirements. Provide operational input into quotations, business cases, and optimisation initiatives as required. Essential Requirements Current HR Truck Licence (or willing to attain) Current White Card Experience using hand and power tools and small machinery Ability to work effectively both within a team and autonomously Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to successfully complete pre‑employment checks (police clearance, medical, and references) Desirable HC Truck Licence Relevant industry tickets or certifications – Class B jetting, excavator.. Working Arrangements Core Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm + Overtime hours, as required.
