Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved within deadlines. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Lead and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and site staff. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team members meet performance standards. Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address challenges. Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct site inspections and audits to maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Address and resolve any issues related to construction defects or delays. Manage project budgets and control costs to avoid overruns. Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment. Prepare and review cost estimates, invoices, and financial reports. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants. Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders. Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. Handle unforeseen challenges and implement corrective actions promptly. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role. Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure or construction projects. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project). Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and other design software. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Analytical mindset to identify and resolve project challenges. Ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
