A well-established civil construction firm is hiring an Operations Manager to oversee projects across Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. This leadership role reports to the Director of Construction and focuses on managing teams, improving operational systems, and ensuring successful project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in civil engineering, operations, or project management
• 10+ years of progressive management experience
• Certifications such as PMP, PE, or PMI are an asset
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Experience in the Mid-Atlantic region preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; French language skills are a plus

• Approve execution plans, budgets, schedules, and contracts for civil infrastructure projects
• Lead recruitment, training, and performance programs for project staff
• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Drive process improvements and coordinate with leadership on strategic planning
• Travel regularly to project sites and participate in management meetings
