Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Coordinator to join our team, specializing in pipeline projects with strong estimation capabilities. The ideal candidate will coordinate civil & infrastructure projects from startup through completion while providing accurate material take offs and cost projections for pipe installation projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
· 3+ years of experience in civil construction project coordination
· Proven experience with pipe material estimation and quantity takeoffs
· Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure systems and installation methods
· Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience with earthwork, water, sewer, or stormwater infrastructure projects
· Familiarity with CAD software and project management tools
· Professional certifications in project management or construction
· Previous experience with public works or municipal projects

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Coordination between multiple civil engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
· Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and municipal authorities throughout project lifecycle
· Prepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports, and documentation
· Facilitate communication between project stakeholders and resolve issues promptly

TECHNICAL & ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

· Analyze project drawings, specifications, and site conditions to determine discrepancies
· Prepare and maintain project documentation (RFIs, submittals, transmittals, drawings, specifications).
· Maintain and update document control systems (Drawings, RFIs, Change Orders).
· Log and track submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders.
· Create ITP’s and help monitor QA/QC documentation such as testing reports, material certifications, and inspection records.
· Prepare and maintain project documentation (RFIs, submittals, transmittals, drawings, specifications).
· Maintain and update document control systems (Drawings, RFIs, Change Orders).
· Log and track submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders.
· Create ITP’s and help monitor QA/QC documentation such as testing reports, material certifications, and inspection records.
· Assist with permit applications and regulatory compliance
· Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and verify material requirements
· Coordinate material deliveries and ensure proper storage and handling
· Support project managers with budget tracking and change order management
