From runways and taxiways to airfield lighting and de-icing facilities, you’ll contribute to every stage of project development—concept through construction—while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your Impact * Coordinate conceptual, functional, and detailed design phases for airport infrastructure projects. * Develop and review technical specifications, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates. * Prepare engineering drawings, design reports, and presentation materials. * Collaborate with internal teams, subconsultants, and project managers to ensure seamless delivery. * Liaise with clients and stakeholders, supporting communication and issue resolution. * Support quality assurance and quality control processes across design deliverables. * Contribute to proposal preparation, including scope definition, budgeting, and scheduling. * Analyze project schedules to track milestones and critical path activities. * Perform field reviews and attend project sites to support design and construction activities. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Skills That Set You Apart * Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution. * Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for registration in Ontario. * 5+ years of engineering experience in Canada, ideally in aviation, transportation, or infrastructure projects. * Familiarity with TP312 5th Edition, ICAO, or FAA standards is an asset. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience with project scheduling or modeling tools is an advantage. * Ability to manage deadlines, adapt to shifting priorities, and work collaboratively. * Willingness to travel to project/client sites as needed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why Choose WSP?
