Description

Passero Associates’ is looking for a talented Civil Project Engineer to join and report to our St Augustine office to work on a diverse range of airfield and municipal projects using the latest advancements in industry technology. Projects involve work with aviation, residential, commercial, municipal, and institutional clients. At Passero, we focus on working in a team environment, all while promoting individual responsibility. Passero Engineers have the opportunity to work on all aspects of project delivery from concept to construction closeout, including client interaction. Responsibilities: * Understand and create full sets of construction plans, including specifications and “front end” contract documents. * Calculate quantity take-offs, develop cost estimates and final bid forms * Under the direction of a Project Manager, coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to execute projects * Provide construction administrative services. * Prepare Capital Improvement Plans and grant application packages for municipal clients. Qualifications/ Experience: * BS degree in Civil Engineering / Civil-related field * Ability to report to our St. Augustine office * 6+ years’ experience in site development * Site, Highway, Airport, Drainage and Utility Design experience * Experience in conducting board and client meetings for small- to moderate-sized projects, preferred * Experienced in land use and municipal approvals * Experienced in preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans * Working knowledge and use of AutoCAD Civil 3D * Strong communication and technical writing skills * Experienced in preparing project submissions and related documents/forms * EIT / PE preferred Offering Competitive Salary & Benefits Package.
