Description

The Construction Civil Project Manager is responsible for overseeing civil construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. This role combines strong technical knowledge, leadership, and organizational skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment with project goals and Azimuth Builders’ core values.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in civil construction project management.
  • Strong estimating and quantity takeoff skills; proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Proven track record managing both in-house crews and subcontractors.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site as required.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and manage all phases of civil construction projects including excavation, grading, site servicing, and utility installation (water, storm, sanitary).
  • Oversee and coordinate in-house crews and subcontractors to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control procedures.
  • Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and municipal requirements.
