Job Title: Civil Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience Required: 5–8 years in construction industry

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Civil Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of civil construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts, ensuring value for money while meeting quality and legal standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects in the UAE or GCC.
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC and other standard contract conditions.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and Quantity Surveying software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift, Candy).
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with local regulations, construction methods, and materials.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
  • Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor project costs, track variations, and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare interim payment applications, final accounts, and claims.
  • Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams.
  • Review contracts, identify contractual obligations, and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in procurement planning and material take-offs.
  • Prepare project cash flows and budgeting reports.
  • Handle post-contract activities including valuation of work done and change order management.
