Description

Key Accountabilities: Act as the main point of contact for civil works between design teams, contractors, and site execution teams. Coordinate and resolve technical issues arising during construction, ensuring alignment with design intent. Review and interpret civil/structural designs, drawings, and specifications. Carry out quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and prepare/verify bills of quantities (BOQ). Support tendering, cost analysis, and contract documentation as required. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure compliance with project standards. Monitor site progress and provide technical support for construction activities. Prepare regular reports, documentation, and updates for stakeholders (TAQA, EDF, and project management). Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality requirements, and safety standards. Job Qualifications Professional Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s is an advantage). 4–8 years of experience in civil/structural design, QS, and site coordination. Technical Skills Required Proven ability to manage communication between design consultants and construction teams. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Excel, or Candy). Strong problem-solving, coordination, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with international codes, standards, and project management practices. Excellent written and spoken English; French is a plus (depending on project location).
