We are regularly tendering for works in Brisbane & greater QLD and are seeking expressions of interest from Civil Site Engineers SEC01 / SEC02 (B02) with structures experience, interested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignments for a period of 1 - 2 years for Road / Highway Upgrade Programs with the possibility of ongoing extensions and/or other projects.

The Civil Site Engineer (Structures) role will assist with the contract administration of road construction works and contributes to, or provides, a range of professional services to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects to time, cost and quality criteria, under supervision of the Project Manager/Contracts Administration Manager.

The Site Engineer (Structures) also assists in the development and implementation of new projects, including managing construction of projects and provides advice to the Project/Contract Manager on project related issues and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the effective management of infrastructure projects in accordance with designated time, cost and quality objectives;

• Monitor and report on progress, foreseeing problems and implementing corrective action to maintain objectives;

• Maintain project quality standards in consultation with clients, and monitor the quality of project inputs;

• Assist with project budgets, cash flows and funding arrangements;

• Assist with project and resource scheduling;

• Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment, free from discrimination and harassment by working in accordance with legislative requirements, the Code of Conduct and departmental human resource policies, including the Workplace Health and Safety requirements.

• The Site Engineer (Structures) may be required to act as Administrator's representative.

Mandatory Experience

• At least 5 years prior Civil Roads Infrastructure construction experience with any Australian State Government Road Authority, preferably the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland.

• Critical Note: Unfortunately, overseas candidates without this Mandatory Experience are unable to be considered.
