JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Civil Engineer with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site execution, coordination, and quality control of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant site experience in civil construction projects (e.g., residential, commercial, infrastructure).
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.
  • Proficiency in using tools like AutoCAD, MS Office, and construction project scheduling software.
  • Familiarity with site safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in handling government or large-scale private construction projects.
  • Certification in construction safety (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on-site.
  • Ensure that work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and manage resources including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
  • Verify and ensure quality of materials and workmanship at the site.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities.
  • Identify and resolve any on-site issues or discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
  • Support the Project Manager and senior engineers in project execution and documentation.
