QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 3+ years of structural design experience, with at least 2 completed IDC or similar industrial projects.
• Proficiency in PKPM, YJK, ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD; BIM (Revit Structure) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of codes (e.g., GB 50174, local structural design standards).
• Licensed Structural Engineer (P.Eng or equivalent) is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Civil/Structural Designer specialized in data centers. You will deliver safe, reliable, and scalable structural solutions across the full project lifecycle. Your work ensures that mission-critical IT facilities have the strongest physical foundation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct structural design and analysis for IDC buildings (new builds, retrofits, expansions).
• Perform load analysis (floor loads, raised floors, wind, snow, seismic).
• Prepare calculation reports, specs, and BOMs.
• Assess heavy equipment loads (chillers, generators, UPS) and design supports.
• Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and other disciplines to resolve conflicts.
• Participate in BIM modeling, clash detection, and integration.
• Provide technical support to procurement, cost, and construction teams.
• Review contractor submittals and provide on-site support for civil issues.
• Research new materials and standards for continuous improvement.
