We are looking for PMC Civil & Structural Specialist with 17+ years of experience to be based in Abu Dhabi.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• 15 years experience in Civil/Structural Engineering in the LNG, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including minimum ) years (preferred) in EPC Organization and in GCC region. Must have at least 2 years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing team of Specialists, Senior Engineers and Engineers.
• Experience in EPC phase studies including preparation of Scope of Work, Statement of Requirement (SOR) and Design Basis documentation.

MAIN PURPOSE

• Provides Civil and Structural Engineering leadership for Project PMC team during Execute stage.
• Provides oversight and checking of Civil and Structural Engineering for the EPC stage of Project.
• Ensure EPC contractor Civil and Structural Engineering works comply with client Project specifications and schedule, delivering value and cost effective, fit-for-purpose solutions to meet client objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review EPC contractor civil and structural technical deliverables, including studies, surveys, structural analyses, drawings, details, material schedules, etc. for compliance with Project specifications, standards and Basis of Design.
• Review EPC contractor subcontract scopes of work for specialist services and evaluate technical content of subcontractor submissions.
• Deputize for Manager in supervising civil engineering team, assist in periodically reporting client civil engineering performance and achievements, including statistical analysis and identifying improvements agree action plans/ benchmark performance to identifying areas of concern.
