JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to oversee civil construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the construction process run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of construction management, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite of software, Bluebeam, Heavyjob, and other construction management software.
• Strong supervising experience in a construction environment.
• In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes for the construction of earthworks, underground utilities, road construction and more.
• Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to manage project costs effectively.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience in construction estimating and resource allocation is highly desirable.

• Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.

• Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation.
• Submit foreman reports detailing daily manpower, equipment, and productions.
• Prepare construction estimates and manage procurement of materials.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
