My client is looking for a civil superintendent to join the growing team in the Lower Mainland.

REQUIREMENTS

· Ideally have 3+ years working as a civil Superintendent in North America
· Open to a Foreman who wants to step up (must have 5+ years experience in foreman role)
· Have proven start to finish relevant project experience
· Strong communication skills
· Proficient in the English language (written and oral)
· Excellent client facing skills

· Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for utility infrastructure.
· Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, government agencies, and contractors.
· Obtain necessary permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
· Oversee site activities, ensuring work aligns with designs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
· Manage construction teams and subcontractors.
· Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot issues on-site.
· Monitor project expenses and ensure cost control.
· Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment.
· Manage procurement of materials and negotiate with suppliers.
· Ensure projects comply with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety guidelines.
· Provide regular updates to clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
· Address concerns from the public or affected communities.
· Prepare progress reports and documentation for stakeholders.
· Conduct final inspections and ensure all utilities are operational.
· Verify project completion meets specifications and handover requirements.
