Chapman Industries Ltd is a growing company that has been in operation in the Okanagan for over 30 years. As a general contractor in the field of Heavy Civil Construction and Earthworks, we specialize in subdivision development, site preparation and servicing, public road reconstruction, and road and highway construction.

We are searching for an experienced Civil Supervisor to join our hardworking crew here in the Okanagan.

The ideal candidate must have 5+ experience in the civil construction industry as well as:

  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
  • Clean driver’s abstract
  • Background in civil engineering (preferred)
  • Gold Seal Certification (Supervisor preferred)
  • Experience with Bluebeam

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be in good physical health
  • Must be able to work outdoors for long periods of time
  • Must be organized
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be proficient in office-based software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must have proven experience as a Supervisor or relevant role
  • Must have Civil experience encompassing major earthworks, storm and water, road works, concrete works, and asphalt pavement to standard
  • Must have a high level of administration skills for daily reporting and other documentation
  • Must be able to work effectively with various personnel and in a team with flexibility in work assignments
  • Must be able to work well with other supervisors and departments
