We’re looking for a Civil Engineering Technician who’s ready to take the lead — someone who brings deep CAD knowledge, proven production experience, and the ability to guide junior staff while delivering top-tier work on complex projects. What You'll Do: · Lead plan production for site development, grading, stormwater, roadway, and utility projects · Design and draft detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D (surfaces, profiles, corridors, pipe networks, etc.) · Collaborate with engineers and project managers on technical strategy, deliverables, and timelines · Review and redline plans for QA/QC and provide technical guidance to junior technicians · Coordinate with survey, GIS, and field teams for integration of site data · Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize deadlines across a dynamic workload · Revise drawings based on redlines and project feedback · Participate in client meetings and contribute to project planning and design reviews What You Bring: · 5+ years of civil engineering design/drafting experience · Expert-level proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation. · Strong understanding of civil design standards, plan production workflows, and permitting processes · Strong understanding of civil design standards, construction documentation, and plan production workflows · Excellent communication, time management, and mentoring skills · Share your expertise and help develop junior staff · Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
