Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Approving job safety analyses and method statements related to civil and structural activities.
  • Supervising all piling, civil, underground, roads & paving, and building erection works, ensuring compliance with the site Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
  • Ensuring that all works comply with project drawings
  • Reviewing project drawings in advance, identifying potential issues, and ensuring subcontractors (S/C) are prepared (materials, resources, and method statements approved).
  • Coordinating with the Material Manager to ensure timely delivery of items.
  • Ensuring subcontractors issue and update AS-BUILT drawings on a weekly basis.
  • Acting as a safety leader, reporting hazardous situations or non-conformities, and stopping work if safety or quality issues arise until corrective actions are implemented.
  • Performing on-site inspections per the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), with QA/QC team support when needed.
  • Leading subcontractor weekly meetings and issuing Minutes of Meeting.
  • Monitoring the detailed schedule with subcontractors, reporting deviations, and proposing corrective actions to recover delays.
  • Managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to the Scope of Work, proposing solutions, and ensuring their closure in coordination with the QA/QC manager.
  • Reviewing subcontractors’ quality files weekly and reporting major deviations.
  • Validating ITPs and signing off on performed inspections.
  • Tracking and validating progress on the Scope of Work and ensuring installed quantities are properly recorded.
  • Leading toolbox talks on safety and technical topics, in coordination with the HSE Manager and Site Manager.
  • Issuing a daily report to the site manager and project engineer, summarizing activities, encountered problems, and required actions.
