Job Description Oversees effective maintenance and repair of all reported defects during the day, manufactures, installs, maintains, and repairs the carpentry-related issues. Works to a preventative planned maintenance program, oversees the cleanliness of the carpenter's workshop and storage room, and ensures all tools and equipment are in good condition. Ensures that there is an adequate stock of all equipment and supplies, repairs and maintains all matters related to carpentry, trains and develops colleagues. Qualifications Degree in Engineering or a graduate of a recognized Vocational or Trade School; equivalent technical certification is an advantage. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in carpentry operations within a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. Good working knowledge of painting, masonry and Microsoft Office applications.
