SAIC is seeking a highly strategic and dynamic Capture Management Director to join our team and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our Civilian Business Group (CBG). This role requires a proven track record of capturing large, complex federal contracts and an ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional business acumen, a passion for winning, and the ability to manage and inspire large, cross-functional teams. The Capture Management Director is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of two (2) to four (4) simultaneous pursuits, working closely with internal teams to mature opportunities through the Corporate Business Development and Capture Management Processes. This includes developing win strategies, building and managing diverse teams, creating compliant and compelling proposals, and driving innovative solutions. This role requires demonstrated business acumen and market understanding, with deep knowledge of the federal civilian agencies including, key market drivers, and evolving trends. Candidates must have the ability to assess customer needs and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements, using these insights to craft differentiated win strategies. A strong win mentality and competitive drive are essential to develop and execute capture plans that align with company growth objectives. Key Responsibilities: Manage capture efforts across Civilian markets, with preference given to individuals with strong winning history with HHS, VA, DOT, CBP, and Treasury. Lead captures exceeding $100M, including tailored win strategies for FFP and fixed-unit-price contracts with a focus on risk assessment, pricing sensitivity, and delivery assurance. Build and inspire high-performing capture teams, overseeing solution development, competitive analysis, customer engagement, and proposal strategy. Serve as a mentor, elevating capture excellence across the organization through sharing best practices and innovative techniques. Strategically engage senior government stakeholders and teaming partners to shape opportunities and influence acquisition methodologies. Develop and manage capture budgets, ensuring responsible investment allocation and measurable ROI for all pursuits. Convert complex mission requirements into executable plans aligned with evolving customer objectives and acquisition trends. Collaborate with business development, pricing, contracts, delivery, and proposal teams to align efforts for successful submissions. Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of related experience (additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree). Candidates must demonstrate sustained success in winning large, complex federal prime contracts exceeding $100M on single-award deals, including IT services, systems engineering, and integration efforts. A strong understanding of federal procurement vehicles and contract types, including IDIQs (single and multi-award), FFP, T&M, and cost-plus structures, is required. Experience in leading capture efforts for large federal programs and a comprehensive understanding of federal acquisition processes, customer landscapes, and government policies in the health sector are critical. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
