REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the civil engineering or groundworks sector.
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, earthworks, and other civil works.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and groundworks projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential risks.
• Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Analyse material, labour, and equipment costs to prepare competitive tenders.
• Assist in post-tender negotiations and contract reviews.
• Keep up to date with market trends, pricing, and industry regulations.
