ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Civils Manager, you’ll be instrumental in managing the construction and maintenance of telecom-related civil infrastructure. You’ll oversee all aspects of civils works including ducting, trenching, reinstatement, and cable laying while ensuring projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in line with health and safety regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects.
• Oversee all civils-related commercial aspects such as pricing, purchasing, and sales.
• Allocate resources and coordinate workloads to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Manage civil crews and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including regional managers, engineers, and field technicians, to ensure successful project execution.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Maintain and promote strict compliance with all health and safety legislation.
• Keep accurate records, documentation, and reporting for all projects.
• Support team development by mentoring, training, and providing performance feedback.
