Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES:

· Overseeing civil engineering projects from inquiry to completion, including the organisation of delivery teams.
· Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the job without delays.
· Carry out site visits for new projects and support the associated pricing exercise.
· Troubleshooting site issues.
· Ensure procurement of materials is carried out to best value and to prevent delays.
· Ensure site team compliance with Company policies and procedures, including RAMS and CDM.
· Attend and deliver pre-start meetings to the site team.
· Produce and analyse progress reports when required.
· Ensure correct engagement of subcontractors.
· Implement the safe working procedures, via the site teams.
· Ensure significant project variations (time and cost) are escalated to the Directors immediately.
The ideal candidate:
· Holds an HNC or equivalent in construction, project management, or a related field
· Has a proven track record in delivering civil projects, including prior hands on experience.
· Possesses excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations
· Demonstrates excellent communication and management skills
· Is proficient in IT tools, including Office 365 and online portals.
· Holds valid UK driving licence (travel required).
· Is solution orientated and demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude.
Salary: £50 k to £60 k (depending on experience) + vehicle
