Site Manager
Ellesmere Port Civils project – this is due to commence 30th June and run for 20 weeks.
The project involves the civil work for the install of a battery/energy storage site – in brief;

Key responsibilities;

  • Oversee day to day operations on site, specifically concrete slab works (pouring, formwork, reinforcement, finishing).
  • Ductwork/Drainage
  • Manage site staff and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with site health & safety standards and method statements.
  • Co-ordinate deliveries, plant and equipment.
  • Monitor quality of work and ensure it meets spec and standards.
  • Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and H&S documentation.

Essential Qualifications

  • SSSTS essential, SMSTS ideal
  • CSCS Card - Essential
  • First Aid at Work - Essential
  • UK Driving Licence - Essential
  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (or equivalent) – desirable but not mandatory

Required experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Site Manager or similar role.
  • Experience with concrete works including planning, installation, QA/QC, and managing pour schedules
  • Strong understanding of H&S regulations and RAMS preparation.

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and people management.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to problem-solve on-site and keep works on programme.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
